2006年度第5回　国際政治経済研究開発センター研究会

Jack S. Levyラトガ－ス大学教授が、来月、青山学院大学国際政治経済学部に招聘教授として来られます。Levy教授は戦争原因・戦略研究やプロスペクト理論の文字通り第一人者として高い評価を獲得されておられ、Peace Science Society(International)の会長に現在ついておられるほか、International Studies Association の次期会長に就任される予定です。Levy教授の初めての来日を記念しまして、現在の米国のイラク政策もふくみまして予防戦争論についてのLevy教授の特別セミナーを開催いたします

Jack S. Levy (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin, 1976) is Board of Governors' Professor of Political Science at Rutgers University. He has held tenured positions at the University of Texas at Austinand the University of Minnesota, and visiting or adjunct positions at Tulane, Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and NYU. Levy received APSA's Helen Dwight Reid Award for the best dissertation in International Relations in 1975-76, and the Distinguished Scholar Award from the Foreign Policy Analysis Section of the International Studies Association (2000). He has served as president of the International History and Politics section of APSA, and he is currently serving on the APSA Task Force on Political Violence.
