Peter Berg, one of the orginators of the concept of "bioregionalism," will be giving a special guest lecture at Aoyama Gakuin University on October 8, 2004 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The lecture will include an overview of Berg's ideas on bioregionalism and how they can be applied to contemporary environmental issues. Berg is director of the Planet Drum Foundation in San Francisco and is currently on a speaking tour of Japan, visiting various universities and groups.
The lecture is free and open to students, faculty, and the general public. It will be held at the Shibuya Campus of Aoyama Gakuin University inBuilding #11, 2nd floor, room 1123. The lecture is being co-sponsored bythe International Green Network EcoStudy Group and Richard Evanoff's seminaron Environment and Culture.
